Evan Lobel.

An ex-hedgefunder-turned-design-maven, Evan Lobel opened Lobel Modern in 1998. He carries a handpicked, out-of-this-world selection of the best furniture designers from the '40s thru '80s including Edward Wormley, Tommi Parzinger, Harvey Probber, Vladimir Kagan, Paul Evans, and Karl Springer. In short, Evan spends countless hours plucking out the best of the best from estates, auctions, and European flea markets … so you don't have to.

We adore the fact that Evan sells directly to our Bungalux readers (he sells to both public and the trade) and we love even more that he takes on one or two design clients every year.

Evan decorated our friend's Upper East Side townhome head-to-toe a couple years ago and, well, let's just say, our friend has a very hot wife now, further proving that with Evan's glam pieces we guarantee you'll be able to go uptown, downtown, or anywhere else it is you want to visit.
