We already established a few months ago that the kitchen rivals the bedroom as one of the sexiest spots in your house.

We buy lingerie for the bedroom, but what to buy for the kitchen?

Since we know nothing about that sort of thing, frequent Bungalux Contributing Editor Andrea Rapke, Founder of the Organized Move, volunteered to help out.

So, here’s the version of Eres and La Perla for the kitchen. Now we're assuming the ever-elusive boyfriend will follow. Interested parties can apply here.

  1. Cool Wine Glasses

These “stemless” glasses blow any others I’ve seen out of the water. The little “stem” allows you to keep your fingerprints (evidence!) off the glass. There’s something very refined about the modern/traditional mix.

  2. Tea Pot

Originally produced in the 1960s, but updated for the new generation, this teapot is definitely a conversation piece. “I'm a little tea pot, short and stout, here is my handle, here is my spout” is now outdated. You put your hand inside to hold it. Toasty! And the strainer is a part of its internal mechanism. No muss, no mess, no fuss.

  3. Reheater

Unless your assistant is SMOKIN’, who has time to get up and deal with getting HOT coffee?

  4. Fruit Bowl

Alessi. New product. Conversation starter. Fresh fruit. Beautiful, sculptural, clean.

  5. Coffee and Tea Maker

This is the most beautiful coffee / tea maker I’ve ever seen. No spill is a bonus. Bodum continues to turn our kitchens into space station-worthy places without even having to leave home.

  6. All Men are Bastards Knife Block

The All Men are Bastards Knife Board. Don't try this at home. (Men may be bastards some of the time, but we like them too much to get rid of them entirely.)

  7. Mixed Drink Maker

The Margaritaville Mixed Drink Maker is something everyone on the planet (sorry to those in AA) needs. I wish Christmas was coming again next week. It would be at the top of my list. You choose the mixers and pick the alcohol and suddenly you’re a professional mixologist. Nice.

  8. Toaster Oven.

Breville’s toaster oven. I have one. BEST TOASTER EVER. Period.

  9. Water Oven

SousVide Supreme Water Oven. Top Chef / Michael Voltaggio / Wiley Dufrene – I think you just got blown out of the “water!”

  10. Fondue Set

Cuisinart’s Electric Fondue Maker makes me long for ski weekends and Swiss boarding school (I’ve attended both). That being said, I bought this the minute I saw it online. Fondue never goes out of style. And it can provide a fun little drinking game: He/she who loses his or her piece of bread in the pot first has to drink an entire bottle of wine – trust me, with all that cheese in your stomach, it’s worth losing!
