The Baywatch beaut’s Malibu digs are up for sale, with a slashed price tag of $5 million (down from a previously very ambitious $7.7 million ).
The contemporary 2700 square-foot beach property on Colony Road is a far cry from her former beach house, the shabby-chic’d and chandeliered abode that featured on MTV Cribs some years ago. With no wicker, slip-covers or reproduction rococo clutter in sight, the cool, sleek and eco-friendly home is a non-too-fussy fusion of simple modernity and tranquil design. With its green credentials it would seem Ms Anderson has been influenced by good friend, fashion designer and avid eco-campaigner Vivienne Westwood.
Decked out in solar panels and all those other environmental eco-friendly do-dahs that we won’t rattle on about, the teak clad property also features all the necessary celebrity accoutrements; including a pool, sauna, home cinema, and open plan living areas. The master suite, with its fabulous terrace also features an egg-shaped bath tub. Lux property pervs will remember Ms Anderson’s proclamation of bath-love during her episode of Cribs (namely her back-yard bath conservatory, where she admitted she didn’t know whether beach goers could see in to or not - her “whatever” attitude pleasing just about every peeping Tom in Malibu). Pictures of the property also show a pretentiously-placed (and consequently out of tune) Baby Grand in the loggia, a shower large enough to fit the entire cast of Baywatch into, and lots and lots of white. Having bought the property back in the early noughties it has since been renovated (to the apparent financial detriment of Ms Anderson) by Philip Vertoch of Vertoch Design Architects, and Josh Chrisant of Chryssanthou.
Pamela is reportedly moving to her Canadian hometown of Ladysmith, with kids Brandon 16, and Dylan 15. As a long time resident of Malibu however, it’s hard to imagine she’ll be gone for good.
