We were introduced to the work of Los Angeles-based Michael and Alexandra many years ago and have been following them closely. Their work is spectacular. Anything but generic, their designs are a mixture of rustic traditional and uber-modern. There is nothing trendy about Michael and Alexandra's rooms: Projects from years ago withstand the test of time. The environments Michael and Alexandra create have a zen-like feel, but are certainly anything but austere. Modern paintings hang by French antiques, old accessories coexist with contemporary furniture.
