It’s no news flash that Gwyneth Paltrow has good taste in real estate. After all, she already resides in taste-worthy houses in the Hamptons, New York, and London … and now she’s added a house in Los Angeles to the list.

We showcased Gwyneth and husband Chris Martin's new $10.5 million Windsor Smith-designed house in Mandeville Canyon on Bungalux a number of times … first as The House of Windsor, a decorator showcase organized by Veranda. We then featured it as a design example for its fantastic kitchen – if I recall correctly we used it as an example of painted kitchen cabinetry – and then as one of our favorite Bungaluxes in Los Angeles. Rumor has it that the Paltrow / Martin clan are going to start spending more time on the West Coast, and since this is one of our favorite houses of the year they've picked a great spot to do it.

For a peek at Gwyneth’s new digs, take a look above and click below. The design is pretty noteworthy, and I promise you’ll find some good decorating tips.

And for one last celebrity house to fixate on before you’re getting out of town this weekend (or hopefully you're already there), we’ve also included a few photos of Ryan Phillippe’s house above. Unlike Gwyneth, who has good taste in significant others, Ryan made the mistake of dumping darling Reese Witherspoon. Now he’s hoping he’s equally as successful at dumping his house. Built in 1998, the house features a state-of-the-art, two-story gym directly off the master suite, a media room, art studio, koi pond, step-down bar with an aquarium backdrop, cook's kitchen with breakfast area, and floor-to-ceiling windows that offer killer city views. Phillippe is asking $6.995 million.

Hmmm. We didn't include it as one of our Bungalux picks, but we can maybe be convinced to change our minds based on our reader comments. Bungalux or no?
